The State (Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Transport/Civil aviation), owner of the infrastructure, opens it to public air traffic and entrusts its management to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jura.
The CCI, exploiting manager, has an authorization of temporary occupation (AOT), renewable each year.
2002 to 2007
The State grants airport concession to the CCI.
July 1st, 2006
Within the framework of decentralization, the State has to transfer the property to a local or regional organization and launches an invitation to tender to find a transferee.
December 28th, 2006
The General Council of Jura decides to buy the infrastructure as from January 1st, 2007.
March 2nd, 2007
The decision is confirmed.
May 16th, 2007
A transfer agreement is signed between the State and the General Council.

Dole-Tavaux is managed by the CCI of Jura, with the financial assistance of different partners within a Board of Management.
Since January 1st, 2010
Between the two candidates, the Public Service delegation, granted by the General Council on November 6, 2009, is entrusted for 10 years to a pool composed of Kéolis (51%) and CCI Jura (49%) under the name Dole-Jura Airport Operating Company (SAS d’Exploitation de l’Aéroport Dole Jura).
